My name is Abby and I live in Cincinnati, Ohio with my love, our 2 kids and 2 dogs. My husband, Eric, builds and installs the walls and I design and create the moss walls. I’ve grown up in the plant world- my dad is an owner of a local nursery so I have always been around plants and working in the greenhouse growing up was one of my most favorite jobs I’ve ever had. Not to mention I love all things green and earthy.
I use every bit of nature that I can to make a beautiful and preserved piece of art for your home or space to bring the outside to the inside. Using stones, mushrooms, fern leaves and wildflowers along side the moss just brings it all to life.
Every wall I design is completely preserved and requires zero watering or lighting needs. Making them completely Maintenance Free! They are full of texture, nature, life and dimension. And they are perfect for just about any place you have in mind in your home.
I started this business as a hobby project for my daughters nursery. I have pictures of her laying on my lap as a newborn and I’m working on her moss wall for her room. So to say I started this business with a 24 hour old newborn baby is a pretty cool little fact. I quickly started getting friends asking for one for their nursery, then a friend of theirs for one….and so on and so forth….and here we are today…almost 2 years in and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE what I do.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR MOSS WALL
My art is designed and created by using preserved moss- which means they require zero light and zero water! Simply hang your wall and enjoy for 10 years or more! Keep out of direct sunlight and out of high steam areas like bathrooms or hot sunrooms.

CUSTOM ORDERS INFORMATION
Thank you so much for your interest in a custom WoodSolStone moss wall!
To start a custom wall of your own the first step begins with an initial email, call or by submitting your name and info in the Contact form.
I will reach out to you where we can chat about your idea, the size and as well as budget.
We will first discuss the size and frame you like. Our standard frame is a 1x2 inch wood frame in any custom size that can be painted or stained any color.
Next we will go over the colors and elements you like best. These custom pieces can cost different prices with the type of moss, colors and framework as well as other elements such as rocks, driftwood, stones, mushroom and preserved leaves are able to be added!
If you are a Cincinnati local- we are happy to come on location and discuss the design elements, or simply emailing and phone calls work great too! We want you to feel as comfortable as possible with your project, don’t hesitate, in this time to give feedback on how you are liking your custom and if you’d like something changed! Remember this is YOUR custom design.
My moss walls can range from $120-$160 a square foot and the price increases depending upon extra elements.
Extra Charge will be added for installation. (Please note: We do NOT install on stone or brick at this time.)
Delivery is free within a 10 mile radius of my studio- located in Montgomery, Ohio, or we can deliver for a fee or pick up from my studio.
Once size, design and budget are discussed- I will send a quote and a 50% deposit is due to officially start the wall. The remaining balance is due upon delivery.*
Depending on size and elements custom work can take up to 6-8 weeks from deposit to finish. This time can increase depending on size.
